Boyer
Picture Lights
The Paris 2, Paris 3 and Marseilles are both low voltage
and are exactly the same as those used by the Boyer Hanging
and Lighting System. Where they are used as individual picture
lights, they must be fed from a transformer. Depending on
the type and size of picture frame, this can either be fixed
to the frame, to the wall or in a recess in the wall, if
the picture is either very slim or to be fixed flush to the
wall. In all cases, the mains electricity supply must be
installed by a qualified electrician.
The Paris 1, Bordeaux and Cannes are powered directly from
the mains supply. Again, a qualified electrician could advise
on the most suitable outlet on the wall but of course, no
recess would be needed for a transformer.
These picture lights are designed to do their job, which is
to light the picture while, at the same time, being unobtrusive.
They can all be tailor-made to suit the width of the picture.
The shades and support arms can be ordered in the following
colours, all of which are sprayed in a matt finish:
Old Gold
Pale Gold
Black
White
Individual Picture Lights
Currently there is only one model. It is an ultra modern,
satin silver aluminium/stainless steel fitting intended to
be fixed to the wall/the back of the picture frame.
